Coastal Launch of One For Sorrow with Favel Parrett and Tanya Scott

Join us at Great Escape Books for the Coastal Launch of One for Sorrow, the powerful new novel from much-loved Australian author Favel Parrett, in conversation with Tanya Scott.

Set in Norway in 1939, One for Sorrow brings together a sensitive young boy and a brilliant teacher whose lives become intertwined in ways that will change them forever. Against the gathering shadow of war, Favel explores friendship, courage, belonging and the extraordinary connections that can shape a life.

Favel Parrett is the award-winning author of Past the Shallows and There Was Still Love, and one of our favourite storytellers. Her writing is tender, atmospheric and deeply human.

Come along for an evening of conversation, storytelling and good company as Favel shares the story behind One for Sorrow with Tanya Scott.
