Penelope is a fun loving, lovable girl who nevertheless wants everything to be just right in her life and gets easily rattled if something is out of place. She likes to be in class at time, ready for the teacher, she likes her room to be just so and she doesn’t understand the girls in her class who are so unruly and rude. What she really needs is a best friend who understands her. When a new girl comes to the school, Penelope has her heart set on winning her over as her own best best friend.
Along the way she learns that sometimes to get what your heart most desires, you have to relax and let it all go. A delightful read for all children, but really wonderful for kids who can sometimes feel anxious or unsettled. RRP: $14.99
