Great Escape Books is within view of the Lighthouse at Shop 2/75 Great Ocean Rd, Aireys Inlet, Victoria.

Our vision is to create a destination in Aireys that our customers would love to come to, unwind and find the perfect book for themselves, family and friends. With this in mind, we handpick all our titles to reflect the largest array of interests and reading tastes. Many of the books on this website will be personally reviewed by our staff.
So you can relax and spend quality time browsing, we have lovely leather couches to curl up in with your selection of books. We even have an extensive range of puzzles, soft toys and Lego to keep the kids happy or add that extra special touch to your gift.
Our Books
We specialise in the best of the new fiction and non-fiction releases, as well as stocking much loved modern classics. We have a large children’s picture storybooks, young readers and teen collections.
Popular collections also include a large food, art, architecture, gardening, ecology, parenting, and philosophy collection.
We are an independent bookstore, we just love our books and handpick all our titles. With reviews beside books in-store, we welcome you to come in and browse and chat with us about books.
Loyalty Program
As a thank-you to all our clients, we have a book loyalty program. Benefits include a $10.00 book voucher for every $200 spent within the bookstore. We encourage your whole family and visiting friends to use your card, so that the points accumulate quickly and you gain maximum benefit from the program. You will also be notified via email of new book review newsletter.

Book Launches and Events
We are fortunate enough to live within a vibrant literary community and have several book launches and readings a year within store by well known and debut authors. If you wish to be notified about launches, simply email Nicole to be placed on our client database: E:myevents@greatescapebooks.com.au

Opening Hours
Great Escape Books is open 7 days a week from September to April. Hours are Monday-Sunday 10am-5pm. During the off-peak months of May, June, July, August, we are closed Tuesdays.
We are open all public holidays, except Xmas Day and New Years Day.
Ordering Books
Feel free to contact us on the numbers below to order any titles. We place orders directly with publishing houses on a daily basis.
Payment: We accept Paypal, Mastercard, Visacard and Direct Debit online. At the bookshop all major cards are accepted and cash of course too!
