Kicking Goals with Chrissie Perry

Chrissie Perry delighted her legion of young fans when she read from her latest book Kicking Goals, from the Go Girl! Angels series. The launch of her latest bestselling book was held at Great Escape Books on Friday June 8th with cupcakes and lemonade all round. Her fans were rapt to be asked how they felt about the characters and what new characters they would like to see in her new novels.  Chrissie’s books are a big hit with girls aged 6-10 years as they deal honestly, yet gently and with lots of humour, with real life issues that all young girls face at school, with friends and at home.

Chrissie’s books have sold in excess of 250,000 copies worldwide and are in printed in numerous countries including Spain,the UK, France and the US.

Chrissie is now writing for young adults aged 12-16years, her latest novel is Outside In (2009), under the name Chrissie Keighery and signed copies are available at great Escape Books.

We are lucky that Chrissie has made the seachange down to Fairhaven, she is now a local and can be spotted regularly around town.
