Launch of Dacelo the Laughing Kookaburra by Pauline Reilly

Great Escape Books was very privileged to host the launch of Pauline Reilly’s latest book in her Australian native animal collection Dacelo the Laughing Kookaburra. Introduced by the Hon. Barry Jones, Pauline has had a long and distinguished career in science and has been  awarded Medal of the Order of Australil;  Elected Fellow of RAOU,  the Australian Natural History Medallion, John Hobbs Medal, and Roy Wheeler Medallion, Whitley Book Awards and Wilderness Society Awards.

We regard Pauline as our own living treasure in Aireys Inlet and it was a great joy to host her latest book. All of Pauline’s extensive backlist of books are available at great Escape Books.
