1-4pm: Join us for a fascinating and highly enjoyable afternoon with two of our very favorite Australian authors in a celebration of National Bookshop Day. A day that connects communities across Australia as it celebrates the very best of Australian literature and fabulous local authors.

Whats On…Free events but with wine, tea, coffee and nibbles.

1pm: Favel Parrett in an informal discussion with Nicole on her Miles Franklin nominee debut novel, ‘Past the Shallows’.

2pm: Writing Crime

Danger, tension, murder….Join us as Jock Serong, the author of crime novel ‘Quota’, talks about the murky and murderous world of crime fiction.

3pm: Favel Parrett joins us again talking about the Antarctic and the Nella Dan in ‘When The Night Comes’- also nominated this year for the 2015 Miles Franklin Award.

Meet the authors: Book signings by Favel and Jock and one on one author chats throughout the afternoon.
