After the Lights Go Out by Lili Wilkinson – Our Review
Heart-stopping thriller …After the Lights Go Out by Lili Wilkinson
Our review: If you love fast paced thriller’s this book is for you. Pru Palmer’s father is a hard-core survivalist and conspiracy theorist. He’s waiting for the next apocalypse and has secretly build a complex underground bunker for his family.
When a massive solar storm has fried all the electrics – cars won’t go, communication is out – the world comes to a halt.
Initially everyone helps each other, then the hoarding of food and medicine starts, until finally neighbours turn snarling upon each other. With more than a hint of Mad Max end of days, this is a superb ethical dilemna with a sensational female lead.
Highly recommended for 12yrs plus. Review by Nicole @ Great Escape
