Our Library by Donna Rawlins (Hardback) – Our Review
This story takes us through a week in the library – with books to read, games to play and things to celebrate. Suzy the librarian has arranged a theme for each day of the week, including Tuesday “Dinosaur Day” and Wednesday “I can do it day!”. The local children come to participate, learning and making new friends along the way.
‘Our Library’ celebrates libraries as places where the imagination runs wild and where people of all walks of life come together to share stories and create community. I love the illustrations which are culturally diverse and represent people of differing abilities. We all need a local hub where we can share the love of books with each other!
