The Book of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult – Our Review
The Book of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult is a book about sliding doors moments, about the choices we make and whether we would make them again if we had our time over.
Dawn, is an end of life doula. She is a special sort of woman, comfortable sitting with people as they face their imminent death. She empowers people to die well, by helping them put all the pieces of their lives in place so they are free to move from this life.
When Dawn meets her new client Win, a woman dying who shares the exact birth date she is confronted like never before.
Caring for Win has Dawn wondering what if… What if she hadn’t married her husband? What if she hadn’t been forced to leave her career in Egypt and a budding romance as a young adult?
Through it all Dawn is presented with the opportunity to evaluate her life, to make peace with her past and choose the future she truly desires.
