The Eleventh Floor by Kylie Orr – Our Review

Our Review…

I could not put this this book down, so I recommend clearing your schedule so you can delve into The Eleventh Floor by Kylie Orr and fully immerse yourself in its world.

The book is not a fast-paced, edge of the seat thrilling read but more of a brilliantly written atmospheric style that builds to a peak while guiding you through the plot, making it wonderfully eerie and disturbingly realistic.

Gracie Michaels is a new Mum who is delusional with sleep deprivation and lost in a world of motherhood that she is ever grateful for but is also warped with a sense of grief at what her life now entails.

At the behest of her husband, she books a night away to rest and recuperate, but when she wakes in the middle of the night with a seedy memory and a man that is not her husband in bed, her world falls to pieces.

While fleeing to her own hotel room she is confronted by a crime taking place outside her window. Now she is caught in a heartbreaking situation, where the choice to speak out at what she witnessed vs hiding her hazy recollections has dire outcomes. Caught in the middle of two unimaginable choices.

A web of secrets, a maze of trauma and Gracie will never be the same, can she come to the centre of her truth. A riveting dark story of survival…
