The Last Snow by Stina Jackson – Our Review
There is nothing better than hunkering down with a thriller set in Lapland, the cold, the dark and the threatening wilderness. This story revolves around Vida, a rich, controlling, cruel father to Liv and grandfather to Simon. He oversees every minute detail of their lives and yet they stay living in poverty with the valuable land and forests they own. An fascinating cast of relatives and neighbours set the background for the murder of Vida. The fear and control are broken by this horrific event but the investigation turns very unexpected and the lead changes several times before the shocking conclusion.
A great page turning thriller from the author of The Silver Road. Loved it.
