The Princess in Black and the Prince in Pink by Shannon Hale and Dean Hale (Hardcover) – Our Review

Our Review…

After a visit to the Werribee zoo, we decided that it was time to read the latest book in the Princess in Black series.

In this edition, The Princess in Black and the Prince in Pink we meet an enraged emu that will have your young reader excited to find out just what will happen with this unpredictable creature!

The great thing about these books is the gentle representation, exactly what our kids need to promote self-acceptance and to feel free to be themselves. Perfect for readers who are not confident readers, with large print and engaging colourful illustrations this is a great book to build reading confidence. It is funny, and a little silly.

This is book ten in the series, so highly recommend going back and reading them all. Best for ages 4 to 7 depending on ability.
