The Snow Laundry (The Towers, #1) by Mette Jakobsen- Our Review

Our Review…

Our novel opens with Ally working in the blistering hot towers of the converted Airport Hilton, now the ‘Snow Laundry’. It quickly becomes clear that while this realty is bleak, it’s infinitely preferable to living on the freezing streets and alleyways, sleeping under cardboard or stolen blankets, begging for food. Nevertheless, the regime is harsh in the Snow Laundry and when Ally’s boyfriend Bon goes missing she discovers an even darker underbelly to her life in the towers.

Written by Sydney-based Danish author and playwright Mette Jakobsen this terrific heart-stopping read that will appeal to dystopian fans of The Darkest Minds and Hunger Games.
