The Spill by Imbi Neeme – Our Review
The Spill by Imbi Neeme is just remarkable. It’s the type of book you had no idea you needed to read, until you’ve read it and now you can’t imagine not having read it.
A pair of sisters, Nicole and Samantha are forever impacted when as small children their car is overturned in an accident, the car driven by their mother Tina.
While unbelievably no one was physically injured, the accident sets into motion the precedent of the fractured, misremembered and fragile memories and relationships that the sisters will share throughout the next four decades.
It is only after their mother’s sudden death that the duo will come together and express their own truth to one another.
A beautifully crafted story about family, love, hidden lives and sorrow that is relatable and entirely captivating.
