Our Review:
Nate McKee is a teen with a big fat pile of worries.

His Dad is a complex man, just trying to do a better job than his own father but still flailing about.

Nance, his step Mum is only 8 years older than him and is snowed under wrangling his twin half-brothers.

A hydro crop has stolen his bedroom and he is overwhelmed navigating the teen world of friendship.

The local youth centre is a haven for Nate; the centre and his notebook filled with his deepest thoughts are all that help him survive this world.

When the youth centre faces closure, Nate must lose his invisibility cloak and stand up against it all. But, can he find the strength? The courage stand up even while his knees knock and his voice shakes.

This Is How We Change The Ending is a tender aching story of fighting back, perfect for teens and young adults. A book that breaks your heart into a million little pieces, but at the same time is so filled with hope, humour and resilience that you must read it!
