Truths from an Unreliable Witness by Fiona O’Loughlin – Our Review
Fiona O’Loughlin is one of my absolute favourite comedians, so I was so excited to read her book and I had high hopes. I loved every minute of it despite it being at times very sad and couldn’t put it down.
A born storyteller, Fiona has been making people laugh since forever. She is cheeky, quite crass and an absolute truth teller so her book is an authentic and raw portrayal of her colourful life.
A Mum of five, it took Fiona too long to realise she was an alcoholic and was causing immense damage to he own life and those around her with many rock bottom moments along the way. Despite her hilarious on stage persona, she realised perhaps she one of the saddest people deep down and is truly lucky to still be alive.
In her memoir, Fiona shares it all. The good, the bad and the ugly as she reflects on her life so far and even dares to dream of a much brighter future. An inspiring story of resilience and hope.
