 We are truly excited about this stunning event with Robert Ingpen. Privileged in the past to be able to launch The Secret Garden and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, for the first time ever, we are transforming the bookshop into a magnificent art gallery with the original paintings from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, as well as the entire collection of Robert’s classic series of books.

EXCLUSIVE: On the evening of the launch only, the stunning original artwork from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Robert Ingpen will be for sale. All editions of classic collections of books will also be available for purchase.

WHERE: Great Escape Books on Saturday October 8th 2011 (Last weekend of School holidays).

Hi Nicole and friends,

I saw your promotion for the Wizard of OZ event in this week’s PIO online mag. I just wanted to congratulate you for putting on this grand event. To say this book is an inspirational classic would be selling it short. It’s a dream builder and a career starter for many of us children’s writers. I wish I could be there. I live in beautiful Perth and I’m unable to make it. However, I hope everybody there gets as much out of this occasion as I know I would.
