Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater- Our Review

Superb Fantasy Read…

Our Review

Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater effortlessly strings together an entire network of charismatic and broken characters, who make you absolutely believe that while magic is wonderful, it is certainly a double-edged sword.

Most people’s reality is the world of their dreams and nightmares stays in their heads. But imagine a world where dreamers, when they inhabit the wild worlds of their sleep, can bring their dreams into reality when they wake. It sounds wonderful, to be able to pull something from your dreams, that is until something that inhabits your nightmares flows you out into the real world.

Mind-bending in it’s complexity, this is populated by characters you won’t forget in a hurry.
This novel is the start of a new series for Stiefvater, who is most well known for her Shiver series and the Wild Raven Boy Chronicles.

A fantastic read for 14 years to adult readers.
